Valentine's Day is coming up in less than a week. I guess it's a big deal because a lot of other people make a big deal out of it. Then again, there are those who don't make a big deal out of it, but the fact that they take extra measures to not make a big deal out of it kind of makes it a big deal. I've always wondered why there is a day like this. Making money would be the primary reason I guess. Do people really need a specific day to show their love for someone else? There are already anniversaries if people need to have some kind of annual marker to show affection, so why Valentine's Day? The only thing significant that happened on Valentine's Day was when Zhongnan's wallet got stolen by a taxi driver. Good times.
My parents consistently ask me if I have found a significant other. Typically they first ask me if I have a girlfriend and I'll reply that I don't, which is true. Then they'll ask me if there are any pretty girls and I'll reply that there are, which is true. Then they'll ask me if I am interested in any of them to which I usually reply no, which is almost true. I usually only think about these kind of things late at night because other things occupy my time and mind during the day. Yeah there are plenty of girls who have caught my interest, though they usually just quickly pass. Not a big deal. However, there are some that seem to just linger around and I'll talk about it with some people late at night and then it just passes. I guess now is just not the right time for me.
I guess I should put in slightly more effort in maintaining a healthier sleeping pattern. This has affected my eating as well as just mentally staying sharp. I feel fatigued constantly at random times during the day yet I feel fine at others. I dunno, I guess this is just the repercussions of architecture studio. Bleh.

And it is still the only significant thing that has happened on valentines day! I'm gonna be extra paranoid on the one coming up.
