Day four of work has started out with a..well, nothing really. It’s a pretty normal day so far—everyone is working on stuff and I’m still trying to figure out AutoCAD. I think I’ve gotten the hang of it and it is now just a matter of becoming faster and figuring out all the shortcut keys. There’s also a good amount of muscle memory as well. I am also still finding out about easier ways to create things.
Almost lunch time. I really didn’t have much time to type anything today. I’ve been reviewing the proposal booklet of one of the larger projects for this firm. There is a Bible study soon here—though I think it’s during lunch. I hope food will be provided…or at least a chance to get some food. Or maybe it will be after lunch, who knows.
Well, it was during lunch and food was provided, so whoo. It lasted until about half an hour after lunch break, so wasn’t too bad.
I don’t really have anything to do right now. I am currently trying to draw a plan/section/elevation of the Enterprise from Star Trek. Only about two more hours left until I can leave anyway.
Oh, nevermind. I actually have an assignment! I have to complete a Sketchup model of a building that they need to present this Saturday..whoo boy. If only they decided to give me this assignment at the beginning of the day rather than at the end of it.
